Self-Funding & Partially-Insured Health Benefits

A partially-insured health plan (or a “self-funded” plan) is one in which the employer assumes the financial risk for providing health care benefits to its employees. A self-funded employer pays for employee medical costs as they are incurred instead of paying a fixed premium to an insurance company for fully-insured coverage. Self-funded employers use HealthEZ for claim processing, shopping for stop-loss insurance coverage, provider network access and utilization review services.​

Consumer-Driven Health Plans

We're experts in helping our clients design consumer-driven health plans with the addition of a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). We work with your bank of choice and coordinate all aspects of implementation, enrollment and account setup. We also take time to meet with members to ensure they fully understand their HSA or FSA benefits and tax advantages. These accounts integrate with EZpay, our online medical payment system, which means members can seamlessly pay medical bills from their HSA or FSA account.
